Mentro Lluest has had some much needed help from the Prince's Trust this month. As a part of their Team programme, participants have recoved a large polytunnel and creating a shrub bed at the entrance to Mentro Lluest’s sensory garden which is being developed by our volunteers.
The Prince's Trust Team programme is a 12-week personal development course, offering work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential week. Through building their confidence and motivation, Team members are encouraged to think about their futures; this includes preparing a post-programme development plan. We are extremely grateful to everyone who participated in the Prince’s Trust Team programme. As a charity, Mentro Lluest relies on volunteers and it can be difficult to get enough volunteers together at once to complete a large task, such as the recovering of this tunnel. The Prince’s Trust have saved us a great deal of work and made an excellent job of it, they should be proud of what they have achieved.
