Mentro Lluest held its annual awards presentation on 25th September. It was a time to celebrate the hard work and success of the students over the last year. Staff, trustees, volunteers, family and friends attended the event, which was held in the training room on the Llanbadarn site, to watch the students receive their certificates.
Many achievements were celebrated in the course of the event, with three students completing their National Proficiency Test Council Certificate for Skills in Working Life and a number of others attaining part of this qualification.
NPTC courses were introduced into Mentro Lluest's educational scheme five years ago and since then over 40 students have studied levels 2 and 3 in Horticulture.
Mentro Lluest would like to offer its congratulations to all the students and its sincere thanks to Councillor Ben Davies, a trustee of the charity, for presenting the awards.
