Calling all Welsh Ladies Celebrate St David's Day with a run along the prom in Aberystwyths famous Welsh Lady Run, sponsored by Jewelry House Aberystwyth. There is still time to enter .... The annual Aberystwyth Welsh Lady Run event was launched by Menter Aberystwyth in March 2006 to celebrate St Davids Day in style and help put Aberystwyth on the map. Following on from the success of last year's inaugural event, the 2008 run will take place on the 1st of March at 12pm and will again see all contestants, male and female, dressed up in traditional Welsh Lady dress and taking part in a 3km run.
Money raised will go to support Mentro Lluest.
Entries cost £5 per adult and £2 for Junior School children.
