Mentro Lluest held its annual Open Day on Saturday 12th May. Despite torrential rain in the week leading up to the 12th, on the day we were very lucky with only a few light showers.
Bedding plants, hanging baskets, organic vegetable plants, hanging baskets, carniverous plants and containers all sold like hot-cakes.
Students were present to answer peoples questions and take part in practical displays like container planting.
A photographer from the BBC was on hand and has created a wonderful slideshow of the day which can be seen at the BBC's mid Wales site.
This could be Mentro Lluest's last Open Day as the project's funding runs out in September this year and further funding has yet to be secured. Everyone at Mentro Lluest would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who attended and supported us, we hope to see you all at Aberystwyth Show in June as that could be our last public event.
